Making one photo a week, for 50 weeks with a 50mm lens gave me an opportunity to play around with the so called Brenizer (or bokeh panorama) technique. Making connections with these people was something I really enjoyed. And the portraits with this technique give them a look that would require a large format camera instead of the crop sensor digital camera that I used.
